There are several so-called fuel saving devices on the market. Some of them are ridiculous and do not work. Go to Popular Mechanics website and read the reviews.  Electrolyzers (more commonly known as hydrogen boosters) are the only fuel savers that are real science and are now being used in welding equipment and in conjunction with hydrogen fuel cells. Electrolysis is the process of extracting hydrogen from water (H2O) which is made up of 2 atoms of hydrogen and 1 of oxygen. Applying a voltage (approximately 2 volts) separates these two components. Information on electrolyzers can be found in numerous physics, chemistry, and electrochemistry papers and published material, the library, the National Hydrogen Association, the EPA (environmental protection agency), and the U.S. Department of Energy.

Electrolyzers are more than just a fuel saving device, but also, because hydrogen is a cleaner burning fuel than gasoline, will help clean carbon deposits out of your engine resulting in more horsepower. They were invented in the early 1900's but have only become popular in recent years due to rising gas prices. The environmental issues are really getting quite serious and it is time for all of us to do our part in reducing and eliminating emissions from our vehicles. But more than that, this is about reducing and eventually eliminating our dependency on oil.

SPECIAL NOTE:

I am the owner of Xavier technologies and an electromechanical engineer and have involved with alternative energy for the last 10 years but I would not expect anyone to buy anything (on my word alone) without having tested it for myself. I believe in putting my money where my mouth is. When gas prices reached $2.00/gallon (Spring 2007), I bought one of these units before I became an affiliate for the company that makes these hydrogen fuel savers. (I'm a customer too). Before installation, I had a complete tune-up done on the car. The electrolyzer did everything that they said it would. Customers on their website were reporting 20-30% plus better mileage and I have personally experienced the same increase in mileage. A larger model, than what is recommended for your engine size, can increase efficiency up to 50%. Some models can also be purchased with a few monthly payments and all models come with a guarantee. So join the many other people from around the world who are discovering the benefits of "supplemental hydrogen".

                                                 better mileage (saves you money)

burns cleaner (helps clean your engine)

                                                 more horsepower

better for the environment (less pollution)

Oil Dependency is Destroying America

In 2008, oil prices reached new highs and fuel cost drove some companies out of business while Exxon/Mobil posted $46 billion in profit for 2007,  about $12 billion for the 1st quarter and almost $15 billion for the 3rd quarter of 2008. Their profit for 2008 was $45.2 billion. The only way this is going to end is for people to do something about it. We urge everyone to boycott companies like Exxon/Mobil and Shell and buy your gas from smaller independent companies where the prices are a little less expensive but everyone should get a fuel saving device at the very least and preferably make the investment to switch to hydrogen.

President Obama's agenda is to end our oil dependency.

(Despite big business and special interest)

The more people turn to alternative energy, the more jobs will be created as well as helping the environment. People need to first initiate this by reducing and eventually eliminating their dependency on fossil fuels.

Gas prices will go back up

Gas prices (like the stock market) are not based on reality. They are based on anticipation, greed, people's feelings and opinions (and we all know what those are like; everyone has one and they all stink). It has taken a worldwide economic crisis to bring gas prices back down. Gas prices, at the beginning of November 2008, were over $4.00/gallon. By the end of the month they were down to 2006 prices. Do you seriously think that the worldwide oil demand dropped more than 50% in a month?... NOT LIKELY. OPEC cut oil production at their meeting (Dec. 17/Algeria) by 2.2 million barrels per day in an effort to drive prices back up...THE GAME GOES ON.  Gas prices have increased a dollar from January-June 2009. They are increasing the price a little slower than they did in 2008 (so the public doesn't freak out) but they are headed back up.

There are several scenarios/predictions, that come from credible sources, concerning the future of oil. NONE of them are good. They include worldwide shortages and astronomical prices that will make $4.00/gallon look like the "good old days". By all accounts, we are in the "calm before the storm". It is time to take the first step towards reducing and eventually eliminating your dependency on oil regardless of the price at the pump. If you want to save a lot of money and reduce emissions, do yourself and the planet a big favor and get one of these units.

YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

Fuel Injected Vehicles, Fuel Injection Basics

(How to get the most from your Supplemental Hydrogen Generator)

Fuel injected vehicles use a computer and sensing devices to sense and maintain the correct air/fuel ratio. One of the key sensing devices is the oxygen sensor. Fuel injected vehicles have one or more oxygen sensors installed in the exhaust stream. The computer extrapolates what the air/fuel ratio is based on the amount of oxygen in the exhaust, as reported by the oxygen sensor. When a fuel saving device is installed, such as a Supplemental Hydrogen Generator, the petroleum based fuel is burned more completely. One of the results of this is that there is more oxygen (and less unburned hydrocarbons) in the exhaust stream. This is a good thing, and is in fact, what we are trying to achieve. However, the computer may perceive this condition as a "too lean" air/fuel mix. In other words, what is now a desirable condition in the exhaust, will be interpreted as "not enough gas", and the computer will direct the fuel injectors to increase the amount of gas being pumped into the engine. The result is that the oxygen sensor and computer prevent super efficient combustion from occurring! The oxygen sensor "tells" the computer what the oxygen content is by providing a voltage on it's signal wire between 0 and 1 volt. 450 millivolts (.45 volts) means that the fuel/air mixture is correct. Higher values means the mix is rich (has too much gas), and lower voltages means the mix is lean. By adding voltage to the sensor's output, we can compensate for the additional oxygen in the exhaust.

The Electronic Fuel Injection Enhancer (EFIE) does exactly this. It adds a floating voltage to the top of whatever the oxygen sensor is putting out. It has an adjustment that allows you to control, to within a few millivolts, the amount of this added voltage. This allows the computer to be unaware of the additional oxygen content of the exhaust, and the Supplemental Hydrogen Generator can now achieve it's full potential in fuel savings. Most cars have oxygen sensors both before and after the catalytic converter. The ones downstream from the converter do not need to be treated. Their data is used to determine when the converter has gone bad, but are not used in the air/fuel calculations. EFIEs are only needed for all upstream oxygen sensors.

Just a quick word about hybrids

When you come to a stop (at a traffic light) or let the vehicle idle for any amount of time, a hybrid will switch over to batteries. This might be helpful if you were stuck in traffic for hours, but the batteries would run down. The Prius hybrids are 4 cylinders so they naturally are good on gas. They recharge the batteries whenever the brakes are applied (regenerative braking). The point is, how much fuel do you actually burn while sitting at a traffic light and are hybrids worth the cost. A Prius hybrid will do nothing for you on the highway. An electrolyzer will save you gas in the city and on the highway. GM however, has solved this problem with high speed recharging which means that it will recharge the batteries while on the highway but it is still a lot less expensive to install an electrolyzer (hydrogen booster) than to buy one of these vehicles.

Hydrogen...fuel of the future.

At the Greater Los Angeles Auto Show, Ford unveiled their hydrogen  "Explorer"  for 2008. They have also designed the Tri-Flex V10 internal combustion engine that runs on gas, ethanol, or hydrogen. GM has been running a few commercials showing their alternative fuel vehicles and gives us a quick glance at their H2 car. Their new logo is: "gas-friendly to gas-free. Honda has also announced the release of their hydrogen fuel cell car for 2008 and has also been running a few commercials. BMW plans to have their Hydrogen 7 on the market within 3 years. All the car manufacturers have hydrogen cars now.  They are not being advertised heavily yet because of the lack of hydrogen infrastructure but there is a company in Pennsylvania called Air Products that is building hydrogen stations worldwide and one of their clients is "Shell" oil. California's "hydrogen highway" has 26 hydrogen stations and you will no doubt start to see hydrogen pumps at gas stations around the country in the not too distant future.

These new hydrogen cars, like any new technology, will be expensive and a lot of people will not be able to afford them. Also, it is our contention that having a tank of compressed hydrogen on board will be extremely dangerous. Some people like their present cars and will not want to make the change but would like the benefits of burning hydrogen. GOOD NEWS! ...You won't have to get rid of your car. Simply convert it to run on hydrogen. This is easier than you might think and does not involve re-designing the engine from the ground up. There are several issues that arise when burning hydrogen in a combustion engine. We provide a lot of information concerning these issues.

HYDROGEN CONVERSION KITS

We have started to manufacture the H2 conversion kits on a small scale until we ramp up our manufacturing operation. Because of lead time on certain parts, please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. Potential customers need to understand that converting your car to run on hydrogen is not a weekend project. It involves making several engine modifications and we will provide you with this information, including a company that manufactures car parts especially for the purpose of hydrogen conversion. If you are knowledgeable in the automotive field, you will probably be able to do the work yourself. If not, you will need to find someone, who is, to help you. Even if you have to pay a mechanic to make the changes, take it one step at a time and you will eventually get there. In the end, this will still be a lot less expensive than buying a hydrogen car and you can stop playing this game with the oil companies. In the interest of not " breaking the bank", you can start with getting the H2 generator and flame arrestor. The rest of the kit includes: the generator electronics module, interior gauges, 16 gallon water tank w/pump and a lot of information on engine modifications. (These items are also available individually). We are now offering a much more efficient product that is closer to Stan Meyer's original design. All H2 generator parts, stainless steel (electrodes), interior gauges, water tank and all associated tubing are Made in America. The electrodes are high quality 316L stainless steel and will never rust and are available in either 6 or 9 set design. They are pre-conditioned so "sludging" is not an issue. On the top of the generator housing is a pressure relief valve, electrical connections to dash meters, and output to the flame arrestor. A drain cock is installed on the bottom cap which also unscrews for periodic cleaning of the electrodes. There is a check valve installed on the side fitting which connects to the water pump. The amount of hydrogen that the generator will produce largely depends on the size of the electrodes. The more surface area there is, the more H2 you will get out of it. More detailed information concerning this will be posted soon.
